Satellite Installation

 

The choice between viewing by either satellite or aerial is dependent on several factors. The choices will depend on location, the present aerial or satellite installation (if any), the budget and the range of programming that the viewer wishes to receive. There are a wide variety of digital TV services on offer, ranging from Sky and Freesat, to European TV and satellite services. We can advise and provide a range of options to suit individual needs and budget.

 

We can also install, or realign, a European compatible fixed dish digital satellite receiver, and ensure that the satellite dish is correctly aligned and receiving the maximum signal strength possible.

 

A New Installation Will Consist Of :-

• Either a galvanised/non-galvanised high grade satellite dish complete with an LNB (the receiving device on the dish - multi-types available).

• Galvanised high quality steel support bracketry and mast.

• Digital grade high quality low-loss coaxial cable.

• Dish aligned for maximum signal strength using a digital signal meter.

• One year parts and labour guarantee as standard.

Satellite Repair

 

If the television has signal loss, or poor picture quality, or pixelating or freezing channels, we can perform a satellite repair at your property. We will perform a full fault diagnosis of your television viewing system and then obtain the optimum reception signal possible. We will also advise and supply you with additional equipment  or an upgrade to improve reception levels if it is required.

A Typical Satellite Repair Includes :-

• Checking satellite dish alignment and positioning.

• Checking the external and internal cabling for signal loss.

• Checking of all connected satellite points.

• Checking of home distribution network /amplifiers.

• Checking and tuning of connected components such as Freesat etc..

Sky Repairs - What We Can & Can't Do

We are not a Sky Agent, nor do we supply or install any of their subscription paid products or services. However, if you no longer subscribe to Sky, and you encounter problems with your satellite then we may be able to assist you. For more details please read our Sky TV information here.

Multi-Room Satellite System Installation

We can install multi-room digital satellite systems. If you are a Sky subscriber then they can supply you with their Sky Multiscreen product; we can install multi-room functionality for all other viewers.

There are two aspects to multi-room viewing :-

​

• where the same channel is broadcast to different rooms simultaneously, or

• where different channels are broadcast to different rooms simultaneously.

Every multi-room system is different, and can be configured to operate through as many rooms or TVs as required.

 

Whether you want one extra TV point, or a fully installed customised digital multi-room system, we can help tailor a solution for you.

A multi-room installation allows you to watch digital TV in any room of your home, while controlling your Sky, Freesat, Freeview TV or DVD system in your living room. An infrared magic eye will enable you to control the channels from any room, and additional set-top boxes will let you watch different channels on each TV.

Using digital signal amplifiers, we can fully configure your home or workplace to provide instant access to digital TV services from any room. Multi-room is fully configurable with Freesat, Freesat HD, Freesat+, Freeview and Freeview+, Sky, Sky+, Sky HD, Sky Freesat digital TV systems and European Satellite TV.
