
Sky Repairs - What We Can & Can't Do
We are not a Sky Agent and, therefore, we do not supply or install any of their subscription paid products or services. However, we can work on a Sky installation if the customer has terminated their subscription plan.
Following termination of their Sky plan the ownership of the satellite dish and box reverts to the customer, and we can utilise these by offering Freesat as an alternative product to Sky. For details of Freesat view here.
We are often contacted by Sky subscription customers enquiring as to whether we can repair problems. Because we are not a Sky Agent we can't help them directly. We can make suggestions for them to sort their problem, but, failing that, they will have to await the arrival of a Sky Agent/Engineer, which, unfortunately, might not be very prompt.
Signal failure is one of the most common problems which is caused by dish misalignment; however, there are also various other internal and external problems that can have the same effect.
If you are a Sky subscriber and your problem persists then you will need to request a Sky Agent/Engineer. If you contact us, we may be able to help you self-diagnose for you to sort your problem. If you are no longer a Sky customer then we can repair the issue for you.
